Welcome to Beightongala.com.
 For those who have never been to our gala -  it is a fantastic free day for all the family.
Free entry for all -  also free entertainment i.e dancing displays, birds of preys and funfair etc.
The gala is held on the Beighton Sports and Leisure club/Beighton miners welfare Field.
We have over 100 stalls (For stall booking forms email me) lots of free entertainment
Food and drink facilities (Bar on site) and  lots of charity stalls.
All in all -  its a day that is great fun and you can come without a penny and still enjoy yourselves.

On the day, we have a fantastic parade around the village with big arctic lorries decorated by different groups and dancers also the Beighton Princess.

Look out for the scarecrows and decorated shop windows too!!

Our team consists of only a few people and we rely totally upon donations (we get little funding) we are a charity gala and our only aims are to make enough money for the  following years Gala, for all the charities to have a great fundraising time and for the businesses who support us, to have a profitable day and for you to enjoy yourself!
So if you can donate any of your time to help us arrange and pull this massive event off, please get in contact  as we are always in need of new members with fresh ideas to help us create a great day for the local communities.
We would be appreciative of any assistance even if you can only spare a couple of hours at the end of the Gala to help us pack up as we are all very tired as the Gala takes over 3 days of work and months of planning!!

This is not some quiet little funday though - we have in the past , had over 5,000 visitors!!
